I am an Executive Administrative Assistant by occupation. I have been working for 20 yrs in Corporate Finance mostly in the Wall Street area of NYC.  I am also a writer/artist/lyricist/songwriter. I have published my first book of poetry. You can read it, view it, and buy it on: www.freedomroadsbooks.com  I live here in the Southwest but am relocating back to the East Coast, back to Brooklyn, NY where my family and I are originally from. I will need help in getting and securing an apartment in Brooklyn, NY for my two children and I. One month's rent, one month's security, and possibly one month's Real Estate fee to be exact.  Please read my article "Homeless In New York" to read why. Click link on this page below.  You can email me with comments or suggestions at: cmfriedman01@aol.com.

You can read some of my poetry online at: www.ilovepoetry.com and on www.purpledream.com  You can also send me feedback at the above email address to let me know what you think about my poetry if you like.

Stargazer Have you ever been in love? Through the ever changing colors and seasons? Holding on, holding on for so many reasons As though love would capture every wish and every dream to see Holding it to a bosom as a child to mother would be Two seeing through one eye not once, but many times more Fully believing our future had a purpose and a unique beauty to explore Our courtship, our marriage, our children, our retirement to come It was the plan, a two parent household, our love…our key to the sun We would work, we would raise our children…a healthy home to be Our love would conquer all… No… not hurt, nor peril, a single child of ours would see We would conquer the darkness, the money, not one infidelity to tell We would raise our children with family traditions only we knew well Good schools, a pretty home, … a long future would be ours For we loved each other deeply and soul mate was written in our stars Cute boy, pretty girl, two souls in love under glistening stars above Too young to tell, too young to care, too young in love... Have you ever been in love? Struggles to come would change the colors of the day Holding on, holding on while angrier words got in the way As though love would capture every unforgiving moment to come But we had each other…. and there was no other one Holding security to a bosom as a child to mother would be Two seeing through separate eyes, not once, but many times more But still believing our future had a purpose and possibilities to explore Our courtship, our marriage, our children, our retirement to come It was the plan, a two parent household …now becoming one We still worked raising our children…. sensing healthy may not quite be Demanding…. not hurt, nor peril, a single child of mine would see Deciding… I would conquer the darkness, the money, not one infidelity I’d tell And I would raise my children with the family traditions I knew well Good schools…would come but not effect the change I’d wished to see A pretty home would become a passing daydream in my distant memory Though we loved each other… deeply did not wait for my soul mate and me The stars showed me what I wished to see… and I saw only what I wished would be Cute boy, pretty girl, two souls in love under glistening stars above Too young to tell, too young to care, too young in love...
